We believe that environmental thinking can’t be taught in the traditional sense. It grows through personal experiences: touching, observing, exploring, and discovering nature first-hand. Children begin to feel responsible for the world around them when they sense a connection to it, understand its rhythms, and see themselves as part of a living ecosystem.

How we prepare for forest walk
Choosing the forest
We carefully select each location, thinking about safety, accessibility, season, and the age of the children. A good forest is both exciting and suitable for exploration.
Risk assessment
For every walk, we use a risk assessment table. It helps us think ahead, reduce risks, and stay calm and prepared during the walk.
Local forest ranger
We stay in contact with the local forest ranger and ask important questions: Is the area safe? Are there works planned? Which zones should we avoid?
Checking the forest
Even familiar places change. Fallen trees, new paths, weather — we always check the area shortly before the walk.
Seasonal planning
Each walk is adapted to the season, weather, and children’s age. Learning, play, movement, and discovery — all thoughtfully combined.
WHAT OUR WALKS LOOK LIKE
Every adventure encourages curiosity, confidence, and a deeper connection with nature, while parents become part of the journey, sharing memorable moments together.
